Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up for or using Sosync.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, backend interfaces, API services, and scheduling tools.

If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with these Terms, you must not accept this agreement and may not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

To access most features of our social media scheduler, you must register for an account:

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information as prompted by the registration process.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and passwords.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3. Platform Usage & Rules

Sosync.ai is designed to help you draft, schedule, and publish posts to various third-party social media networks (such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.). You agree to comply with the following usage policies:

• Compliance with Network Rules: You must comply with all terms and developer policies of the linked social networks. Any action causing suspension from a third-party API is your sole responsibility.
• Content Ownership & Responsibility: You retain ownership of all text, images, and other media that you input into the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring your posts do not violate copyrights or publish prohibited/illegal material.
• Prohibited Activities: You may not use the Service to distribute spam, coordinate massive bot behaviors, or violate any applicable local, national, or international laws.

4. Billing & Subscriptions

Some of our features require a paid subscription. The billing policies are as follows:

• Fees: All fees are stated on our pricing page and are charged in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis.
• Payments & Processing: Payments are processed securely via our payments provider (Stripe). By purchasing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fee.
• Refunds: Except as required by law, paid subscription fees are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing cycles.

5. Intellectual Property

We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Service. Your drafts, posts, and ideas remain yours.

However, the Service itself (including the Sosync.ai brand, website code, layout, algorithms, icons, database architecture, and proprietary AI helpers) is the intellectual property of Sosync.ai. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or duplicate any portion of the frontend or backend without our express written consent.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and we will purge your active scheduled posts and oauth tokens from our database in accordance with our data retention policies.
